CAGE 22

Sammy Adult, S/F, DSH, Tiger with white. Sammy and her sister Sara were originally living in a stressful family situation. A friend of the family took them in to try to help out but it wasn’t a good fit for them with the other cat in the house. Since it still wasn’t working for Sammy and Sara, they called to see if we could find new homes for them. Sammy is slowly making the adjustment to the shelter. The volunteers have been giving her extra love and attention which she is accepting and we are happy to see progress being made. She is a beautiful girl deserving of a quiet, stress free home to pass the time watching birds and squirrels from a window perch.
CAGE 21

Piper Young Adult, S/F, Calico, Manx. Piper is a true Manx which means she was purposely bred to have no tail. She came to us after she was surrendered to a local Veterinary practice with a wound of unknown origin. It was thought that she was possibly hit by a car, but because it couldn’t be confirmed she needed be in 4 month quarantine. Her quarantine period is over and she has completely healed and is ready to be adopted. Piper is a laidback cat who we believe would do fine in a house with another cat. She would, also, make a great family pet. This girl has had a tough time and we would love to see her find the purr-fect permanent home to call her own. ADOPTED!!
CAGE 20

"Frasier" Young Adult, N/M, Buff. There is only one word to describe Frasier – lovebug! This friendly cat is barely a year old and was found as an un-neutered stray. His coat is not orange, but is a soft, sand color. Frasier has had his visit to the veterinarian for testing, neuter and vaccines and is now very eager to find his forever home. He is a charmer and has stolen the hearts of all the volunteers. All he wants is to be held and petted. When it comes to play time he is energetic and entertaining. Frasier will make a wonderful family pet and would do well with younger children and another cat or dog.

"Herbie" Young Adult, N/M, DSH, Brown Tiger with White. Herbie was picked up by a local Animal Control Officer after spending days at the back door of a restaurant begging for food. He was scanned for a microchip (none found) and held by the ACO waiting for someone to claim him. Sadly for Herbie no one called and he is now at PCS looking for his special home. He is friendly and seems to be doing well with the other cats in his room. Herbie should do well in a home with another non-aggressive animal.
CAGE 17

Simone Young Adult, S/F, DMH, Gray Tiger with White. Simone was picked up as a stray by a local Animal Control Officer and was held to see if anyone called to claim her. Since no one called missing her, she was placed into the shelter after being examined by a veterinarian, spayed and vaccinated. Since she is relatively new at the shelter we are still getting to know her. Simone did very well at her foster home but is still adjusting her new routine at the shelter. Her favorite toy is the laser which she loves to chase and will dance around the floor trying to catch it. We will provide more of an update as we give her the time she needs to get settled in.

Isabelle Young Adult, S/F, Black. This tiny girl came to us as a surrender. She was in a house with 5 other female cats, none of which were spayed. She had 2 litters of kittens in 4 months. We had Isabelle vetted and spayed and then brought her into the shelter. She is still a little skittish, but can be held and settles right in for some loving. Isabelle will make a great family pet, and we think she’d do well with another, laid back cat. This little cat has been through a lot and it’s now time for her to find a home that will love and appreciate her. ADOPTED!!
CAGE 13

Chrissy Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Gray Tiger. Chrissy had been hanging around a neighborhood being fed by many people when finally someone decided to call Animal Control to come get her. After being picked up she was scanned for a microchip and it turned out she had one. The company was contacted and her owner was found. The owner revealed that Chrissy had been missing for about 7 months and she had already gotten another cat to replace her. Because her owner had already brought another cat in she didn’t want Chrissy anymore! Poor Chrissy ! Animal Control got in touch with PCS and we gladly took her in and will find her a loving home. Chrissy is a pretty gray tiger who seeks out affection and love from the volunteers. She loves to sit on the window perch watching the world go by. She’s a great cat and won’t be at the shelter long.
CAGE 12

"Jackson" Young Adult, N/M, Gray Tiger. Jackson was found as an un-neutered stray. He’s a very laid back, affectionate cat that has been enjoying the indoor life lying around in the cat beds in his room since arriving at the shelter. He has been to the veterinarian for an exam, neuter, testing and vaccines and is ready and waiting to meet his new family. He’s not a huge cat but is long with a handsome coat with gray tiger markings and gorgeous green eyes. Jackson seems to get along with other cats so we feel he should do well as a single cat or in a home with another feline companion. This awesome, loving boy will be a great addition to any family.

"Marnie" Adult, S/F, DSH, Black & White. Marnie was already spayed when she was picked up by a local Animal Control Officer. Having gone unclaimed and no calls for a missing cat fitting her description; it can only be assumed that she was “dumped” by her owner. Marnie is a very sweet girl but isn’t enjoying being around so many other cats. We are hoping to find a home with no young children and where she will be your one and only furry friend. Marnie has a white mark on her face in the shape of a diamond...she truly is a jewel!
