Adopt-A-Cage

Give that special person, or even yourself a gift to enjoy all year long. It's easy to do and custom designed by you. The Purr-fect Cat Shelter Adopt-A-Cage program allows you to adopt a cage at the shelter to support with as little as $5 a month. Each month you'll receive the monthly pledge reminder along with a picture of the cat currently "visiting" the cage. If you adopt a cage as a gift for someone, you will receive the monthly pledge reminder, and the photo of the resident kitty will be mailed to the person receiving your gift. Your gift is also tax deductible.

Here's what to do:

2) Choose your favorite cage number
3) Fill out the application
4) Choose the amount of your monthly contribution ($5 minimum please)
5) Send in your application and pledge money!

"Jessica" Young Adult, S/F, DLH, Black with White. Jessica was surrendered to the shelter by her owner because she was moving and unable to take Jessica with her. Jessica is a small, sweet girl. She is not overly fond of other cats and would prefer a home with no small children and no other animals.

"Emory" Young Adult, N/M, DMH, Orange. Emory is extremely intelligent. He was rescued by a volunteer's son who attends Clark University in Worcester. An adorable, playful cat who has assimilated well to his new digs. Adopting Emory would be like graduating with honors.

"Connie" Adult, S/F, DSH, Calico. Rescued as a stray with a wound, Connie is all healed and out of quarantine and ready to find her purr-fect home. She is a beautiful, gentle calico who deserves to be living the good life. Connie is fine with other cats but would probably enjoy the company of an older person with a quiet home. Warm your lap this winter with this wonderful girl!

"C.C." Adult, S/F, DLH, Diluted Calico. C.C.'s owner passed away and she was surrendered to the shelter. She is an independent Calico with a slightly shy nature. She is looking for a stable, quiet home that she will love and flourish in. C.C. can live with another cat that is non-aggressive. Can you provide this beauty her dream home?

"Zoe" Young Adult, S/F, DMH, Black. Zoe came to the shelter with Ozzy following the death of their owner. Zoe is an amazing little cat! Sweet and petite, this little black beauty with a plume-like tail is so playful and friendly you will be elated that you brought her home. Zoe is great with other cats and would like to have a friend… Ozzy?

"Shiloh" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Tortie. Shiloh was one lucky cat! Rescued by a PCS volunteer after her family abandoned her, she required a quarantine due to a wound. Now at the shelter and loving all the attention, this sweet girl will make an awesome family pet. Shiloh is sweet and adorable and waiting for you to take her home.

"Ms. Whiskers" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Calico. This very sweet and beautiful calico cat was rescued by our local Animal Control Officer. It would appear that she was dumped by her owner, as she was a spayed cat and went unclaimed after spending over one month with the A.C.O. Ms. Whiskers is a lovely girl and would do well with a family who wants only one pet. We would love to show you how cute and sweet she really is!

"Cricket" Young Adult, S/F, DMH, Calico. A petite cat, Cricket was rescued outside a local eating establishment. Our ACO was called by this establishment when they saw that she had given birth to a litter of kittens. Cricket is a very sweet girl. A purring machine! She would really love to have a home and a family of her very own.

"Sunny" Young Adult, N/M, DSH, Orange Tiger with White. Sunny is Sweet Pea's brother who would like to be adopted with another cat friend. A very handsome, classic orange tiger male who should be a magnificent addition to your home.

"Candy" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Black & White. Candy is so sweet! This petite cutie is a rescued feral that was sent to one of our foster homes to be domesticated. This little girl, with very different markings, not only likes other cats and dogs, but she loves children too! Is there room at your home and in your heart for Candy?

"Lotus" Adult, S/F, DSH, Diluted Tortie, Double Paws. A local family rescued Lotus and contacted the shelter for assistance. Lotus gave birth to 5 kittens in one of our foster homes and now it's time for Mom to find her own home. Lotus is very petite and a little spunky. No young children and no other cats would be best for this pretty little girl.

"Apollo" Young Adult, N/M, DSH, White with Orange. Big, handsome and active are words that describe Apollo. He is a cat that needs stimulation and a family with children is just what this guy is craving! Apollo may also do very well with a dog as a companion rather than another cat. Does he sound like he would be a great addition to your home?

"Ozzy"Adult, N/M, DSH, Brown Tabby with White. Due to the death of his human, Ozzy along with his housemate, Zoe were surrendered to the shelter. This handsome boy with beautiful tabby markings is a little intimidated by his new surroundings. He is a very sweet and gentle cat and really loves to be petted. Ozzy would do well in a home with non-aggressive felines or maybe just take the pair!

"Bosco" Adult, N/M, DSH, Black & White. Bosco was adopted 2 years ago from PCS. His person has passed away and a family member called the shelter to see if we could take him back. He is a wonderful cat! So sweet and loving and a favorite at the shelter. Come and meet Bosco and you will love him too!

"Angelica" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Gray with White. A beautiful cat with a long, lean body, Angelica was picked up by our local ACO. After months of going unclaimed, she was turned over to the shelter to find her a new home. Angelica is vocal, independent and has a lot of moxie. She would like a home without other cats and also no small children.

"Franklin" Young Adult, N/M, DMH, Buff. Franklin was a stray who was rescued by a very kind lady. He is amazingly handsome and has a wonderful purrsonality to go along with his great looks. A good size cat, he has adjusted quickly to his new surroundings. Franklin is mellow in nature and would be a wonderful family pet.

"Skeeter" Young Adult, N/M, DSH, Brown Tiger with White. Skeeter was rescued by Animal Control and is the most handsome cat. He seems to prefer women to men and is very much a dominant cat. We would like to see him in a home with no other cat or young children. A non- aggressive canine companion might be just what Skeeter needs.

"Zeke" Young Adult, N/M, DMH, Black & White. Not neutered and living on the street, Zeke was lucky to be rescued by the local Animal Control Officer who turned him over to PCS. He has very unique markings and a gorgeous plumed tail. Zeke is a wonderful cat that would prefer the companionship of humans to that of other cats.

"Minnie" Young adult, S/F, DSH, Black. Minnie was part of a litter of kittens trapped at a local car dealership. Shy and petite, this little girl loves to cuddle in your neck, be petted and groomed. Minnie needs a quiet home without other cats so that she can feel safe and secure. more pictures!

"Gracie" Adult, S/F, DSH, Calico. Gracie was surrendered to the shelter because she refused to get along with a new kitten brought into her home. She loves other cats, a little shy and she prefers to spend much of her day dreaming alone. She deserves a good home where she will share space with her family.

"Hannah" Young Adult, S/F, DLH, Dilute Calico. Rescued by a PCS volunteer, this sweet, adorable and extremely outgoing cat was found living under a shed with her four cute kittens. Hannah has quickly won the hearts of the volunteers and gets along nicely with her room mates at the shelter. Her kittens have all been placed and it is time for mom to get her "fur-ever" home.

"Sweet Pea" Young Adult, S/F, DSH, Calico. Sweet Pea was one of 13 cats rescued from a feral colony. Most have found homes just leaving Sweet Pea and a few others. A tad shy but a lovely cat, she would do best in a quiet home.
